ARGENTINE TANGO FUNDAMENTALS

Emphasis in this 5 class series will be on authentic Argentine Tango as a social connection. The instructors, Armando Orzuza and Nuria Martinez, will provide background on the culture of tango, including its language, music and customs. The tango embrace, walking, musicality and navigation will be among the major dance elements covered. Registration for the entire series is expected as the goal is to develop a committed social group of tango enthusiasts on the Outer Cape who will dance on an on-going basis. Tango is an inclusive activity that welcomes all ages. Also, participants are welcome to learn to either lead or follow, regardless of gender. A partner is not necessary as dancers change partners throughout the class so as to have experience dancing with a wide range of people.
