Offer a Program at the Hall!

Wellfleet Preservation Hall is committed to creating opportunities for active engagement. Two distinct Halls, a commercial kitchen and an outdoor garden provide space for unlimited possibilities. Wellfleet Preservation Hall is a Community Cultural Center, centrally located at 335 Main Street, that thrives based on the creativity, imagination and talents of people like you.

Share your talents by offering a program in writing, dance, music, culinary arts, theater, visual arts, crafts...or tap your imagination and bring us your ideas, and we'll help you shape and bring them to fruition. Anything is possible at the Hall!

Once you have completed the Program Application, we will be in touch regarding program approval, scheduling and details. Applications are considered and approved on a first come, first serve basis. An open date on the Hall public calendar does not guarantee that specific date is available. Thank you!

Hall use fees:

Will your program or event be ticketed or require a registration fee for attendance? The Hall offers two rental options for your consideration:

(1) Net ticket income split - 60% to the producer/presenter/performer, 40% to the Hall. With this option, the Hall provides advanced and day-of ticketing sales and management.

(2) Flat venue rental of up to 5 hours - $400 (Please Note: This does not including any additional staffing or tech fees.)

Please note that it is the responsibility of the performer/event to secure their own audio/visual and technology needs. WPH can schedule a sound engineer on your behalf with enough advanced notification, but the performer/event pays those sound engineering fees.

In either above scenario, marketing and promotion are a shared responsibility between the presenter and WPH. The performer/event is responsible for providing photos, links, bios and descriptions of events that are ready for press. WPH is responsible for circulating those materials to promote the performance/event on several platforms.

The Hall also encourages programs that are free to the public. In those cases, a fee of $0 - $200 may be required to offset utilities, staff time, event time and other expenses associated with hosting your event. Each free program fee is assessed on a case by case basis. Additional fees may be charged depending on the needs and scope of your program.

Please contact the Hall for more information on any of the above. Thank you!
