The Hall is able to operate and promote the thriving cultural arts scene on the Cape through fundraisers we hold throughout the year. Here are a few of our most popular fundraising events.
Oysterfest - mid October, typically held the weekend after Columbus Day. The town is hopping and the bottles are popping at Prez Hall! The Hall has the best drinks in town, a wide selection of mimosas, cocktails and non alcoholic beverages, along with excellent soups and snacks all weekend long!
Taste of the Towns- 4th Saturday in June. This year Taste of the Towns will be on June 29th. Our premiere summer fundraiser! The Hall hosts 30 of the best Cape restaurants and caterers in our beautiful backyard. This year, Chef Tony Pasquale serves as the honorary chair, with live music by our 2024 artist in residence, Alexandra Sesenton, and a live auction hosted by Boston based funny man, Jimmy Tingle to round out the night. The 2024 live auction items include a trip to the African Safari, dinner cooked at your house by Chef Tony Pasquale, an unforgettable private catamaran charter out of Wellfleet harbor, priceless art by prior WPH executive director, Janet Lesniak, a private catered cocktail party with live music for up to 20 people, and a beautiful photograph by local and NYC based photographer, Robert Johnson.
Vendors this year include: Beanstock Coffee, Blue Willow, The Bookstore, Captain's Choice, Ceraldi, Devil’s Purse Brewery, Hog Island, Mac's Shack, The Pearl,Sweet Baking of Wellfleet, Terra Luna Catering, Winslow’s Tavern, The Flying Fish, Blackfish, PB Boulangerie, C-Shore, The Wicked Oyster, Brickhouse, Mahoney’s Atlantic, The Rail, The Barley Neck Inn, PJs, Cibos, Far Land, Spinello, and Sunbird…just to name a few!
Block Art Party- The first Saturday in August. This year the Block Art Party will take place on Saturday, August 3rd @ 5pm. This confluence of art and community brings tons of artists and buyer to the Hall to purchase one of a kind, original pieces of art work from top local and regional artists. Artists create original works of art on two different sized wooden blocks- they are the only ones like them! The event takes place upstairs and outside. There is live music, food and an all around festive atmosphere! Free to attend, but the blocks run between $325 and $475.
Birdhouse Auction- 1st Saturday in August (alternates with Block Art Party)
