Weddings at the Hall - old-fashioned, new-fangled, or totally funky.
Whether you are planning a destination wedding, rehearsal dinner, post-wedding breakfast, birthday party, family gathering or memorial service, or you need a fabulous meeting space for your business or community group, Wellfleet Preservation Hall provides a perfect setting for your special event.
With two spacious halls, beautifully landscaped grounds and garden, Wellfleet Preservation Hall is a magnificent site for every style of event from intimate gatherings to lavish weddings. Two famous hand-carved doors created by folk artist Jonathan Kendall welcome visitors to the upstairs Simone Reagor Hall. Special features have been preserved, including; pressed-tin ceilings, wood wainscoting, stained glass windows, a slate roof, and stunning crystal chandeliers. The lower hall, has a restored stage, a new sound and lighting system and the Hall is equipped with a commercial kitchen, elevator, six bathrooms and lobby spaces. The building is fully air-conditioned and handicapped accessible.
Befitting the designation of Wellfleet as "the art gallery town," art infuses the building inside and out. In addition to the doors, a sculpted heron made out of weathered steel by Truro artist Del Filardi now crowns the restored cupola. A fully accessible reception lobby includes a stunning hand tiled installation and warm wood finishes and subtle paint colors add character and charm to this historic building. French doors lead out to the lovely gardens — a perfect setting for all outdoor parties.
Wellfleet Preservation Hall offers many different options to accommodate your event. We will also work with you individually to assist you with local caterers and other vendors to make your special day memorable.
