Join us for a conversation and reading with author Connie Biewald. Connie will read from her new novel, Truth Like Oil followed by a discussion and Q & A led by Ingleed Auguste, her friend and colleague.

About the author:
Connie Biewald has been writing stories in an effort to explore human relationships since before she was five years old. She has been a teacher/school librarian for more than 40 years, sharing her love of reading and writing with homeschoolers and hundreds of students in public and private schools in the US and Haiti. She is the author of three loosely connected novels that comprise The Rivertown Trilogy: Bread and Salt, Digging to Indochina, and Roses Take Practice, in addition to the recently published Truth Like Oil.

She is the grateful recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council artist grant, a PEN New England Discovery Award and numerous residencies.
